Our clinic is equipped to diagnose musculoskeletal disorders, and provide nonoperative orthopedic and sports medicine services. Dr. Se Won Lee and Dr. Werner are board-certified and highly experienced in providing exceptional care to enhance and restore our patient’s quality of life.
What do we do?
- Electrodiagnostic studies
- Accurate diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders using in-office ultrasound
- Comprehensive electromyographic (EMG) testing and nerve conduction studies (NCS)
- Evaluate peripheral nerve and muscle disease or injury including entrapment neuropathies (carpal tunnel ulnar neuropathy), neuromuscular disease, lumbar and cervical radiculopathy and peripheral neuropathy
- Assess, manage and treat motor neuron disease such as ALS
- Consultation of imaging studies
- Diagnostic and therapeutic injections including botulinum toxin injection and nerve block to control spasticity
- Ultrasound guided peripheral injections for joint and soft tissue issues. We also provide platelet rich plasma injection if indicated after failed other treatment.
- Referral to physical and occupational therapy with specific prescription and guidance
- Education of injury prevention and return to play
- Evaluation and prescription of brace and orthotics
- Concussion evaluation and management including mild brain injury discharged from ER
- Outpatient and home-based neurological rehabilitation
- Address back and neck pain requiring rehabilitation services including soft tissue injections, bracing, therapies, non-opioid pain management, workplace accommodations, and lifestyle changes
- Musculoskeletal problems including sports injury evaluation assessment prevention and treatment of the hand, foot, ankle, knee, hip, SI joint, wrist, elbow shoulder, carpal tunnel, and tendinopathies requiring rehabilitation services
- Amputee Clinic
- A multi-disciplinary approach to pre and post amputee care coordination for upper and lower extremities.
- Management of phantom limb pain as well as residual limb pain.
- Prosthetist available to ensure correct ordering of appropriate componentry and coordination of therapy
- Spinal Cord Injury Clinic
- Assessment, management and prevention of complications associated with spinal cord injury including spasticity, bowel and bladder issues, musculoskeletal disorders
- Coordination of inpatient and outpatient therapies when appropriate
- Management of durable medical equipment (DME) needs including wheelchairs, orthoses and hospital beds
- Spasticity and neuropathic pain management
